Role and Responsibilities

Fiducial US is divided into 3 regions, West, Middle-West and East. The Regional Manager is in charge of the daily supervision, the technical supervision and the controlling of the performance of the region. His/her main goal is to increase the size and the profitability of his territory in compliance with the Fiducial standards.

The territory includes the biggest US operation of Fiducial to date: Federated Funeral Directors of America. This operation is the largest bookkeeping and consulting service firm for the private funeral homes in the US (acquired by Fiducial in 2011). The other branches are currently Cincinnati, and Houston.  Federated, Springfield requires presence onsite as needed to assist current leadership on various projects due to significant ongoing changes.  This is an excellent career opportunity for growth of business and increasing responsibilities.   The person for this role can be based in Chicago or Springfield Illinois.

  • Reporting to the Director of Field Operations this person will work with current leadership and support the development of the revenue and growth of Federated Springfield, Houston, and Cincinnati, Louisville based on strategic plan by reviewing the performance of each branch, visiting them and identifying areas for growth and supporting the development of proposals to develop revenue and business
  • Assist existing leadership on various projects with Federated Springfield.
  • Establish new branches
  • Technical Review and compliance
  • Supervise all HR aspects with the local Managers
  • Implement best practices, services and policies
  • Evaluate the Branch Manager performance and actively manage them to reach the level of performance expected
  • Assist the local Branch Manager with difficult situations including handling client’s issue with IRS or other regulatory agencies
  • Help local branches to develop marketing efforts and promote the quality of services locally
  • Actively explore and investigate any potential acquisition (Chicago area)
  • Develop and grow Fiducial footprint in Houston 
  • Research and investigate sizeable businesses for expansion in mid-west territory
  • Travel required for this role


 Desired Skills/ Experience/Attributes

  • Minimum of 10 years in an accounting/tax environment (EA or CPA)
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership function
  • A good knowledge of practice management in multi-million dollar professional services
  • An extensive experience of dealing with clients
  • Fluency in French
