Position Overview

  • Oversee the management and reconciliation of accounts payable/receivable, month end close and annual audit for multiple entities
  • Accounting responsibilities for multiple entities to include general ledger management, financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, fixed asset management, and profit and loss review.
  • Review and assess department processes and procedures. Analyze job functions for optimum efficiency and develop new work processes as necessary.
  • Responsible for managing the set up of new vendors.
  • General ledger coding in Epicor
  • Supervise accounts payable/receivable staff of 2.
  • Communicate internal issues and recommendations to Controller.
  • Special departmental assignments and/or projects as assigned.

 Desired Skills /Experience / Attributes

  •  1 to 2 years of supervisory experience overseeing an accounting staff.
  •  3 to 4 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable.
  •  Experience with Epicor or other ERP system preferred
  • Ability to analyze, research, and disseminate and make recommendations on multiple projects at one time.

 Ideal candidate for this position

  • Able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of GAAP.
  • Experience with Epicor or other ERP.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels.
  • Keen analytical ability, detail oriented and able to provide positive leadership and direction to accounting support personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred.
