Position Overview

Jade is looking for a motivated Tax Supervisor who has experience working with businesses and individuals on international tax matters.

The Tax Supervisor will work in a team environment and will be responsible for tax preparation, tax review and other tax functions for Jade clients such as research on tax issues, audit support, and tax planning as needed.

 

 

Desired Skills/Experience/Attributes

  • 3+ years of experience in reviewing complex tax returns including international, federal and multi-state returns for C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals in a CPA firm.
  • Experience in specific international income tax compliance and reporting
  • Technical knowledge of US taxation of international business operations, with a demonstrated ability to drive results and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to advise clients on various income tax matters
  • Preferred knowledge of US and French accounting and financial statements
  • Broad understanding and ability to apply concepts of US GAAP and Internal Revenue Code.
  • Strong desire to broaden/build skills; including keeping up with technical changes
  • Strong information technology skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, Excel) and advocates for use of existing and new technologies to drive efficiencies
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to independently identify and resolve issues
  • Hands-on approach; willing to roll up his/her sleeves in a teaming environment.
  • Ability to train and supervise staff
